If you don’t have Avast Mail Shield component installed you can either add it, change the settings and remove or you can change the settings via EmailShield.ini file.

Solution #1 – Add the Mail Shield Component, Change Settings and Remove It

Navigate through the Start menu to ‘Programs‘ » ‘Programs and Features‘
